April is when we start our Dahlias so that they have a head start when we plant them out in the field. Join me in the garden to pot up one of your own.
Get your Dahlia plant off to an early start. I'll talk you through how we nurture our Dahlia until it's time to plant them out. Slug defence systems will likely feature in the conversation!
Then, choose and sow Hardy Annuals and Half Hardy Annual seeds from our collection, for flowers that you'd like to grow along side it to extend your summer cutting garden.
(You can get your garden off to an early start by joining us in March, book your place here. Make sure that your cutting patch blooms into early autumn by coming back in May - book your place here!)
You'll leave armed with new knowledge and understanding about Dahlia.
You don't need any gardening experience to join us and you certainly don't need any RHS qualifications either. Just a love of pretty flowers
The workshops are 2 hours long and at present are held at HQ in our working garden. Please wear sensible clothes and footwear for outdoor wear.
We are really sorry that the garden is not wheelchair accessible but are planning some accessible flower based clubs for later in the year.
Grow Club places are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
